GirlyQuote respects your privacy. This policy explains how information may be stored or processed when you browse quotes, create artwork, and share designs.
No registration required
You do not need an account, registration, or an email address to browse GirlyQuote or use its core features, including discovering quotes, designing, downloading, and sharing. Owner sign-in is separate from the visitor experience.
Information used by GirlyQuote
Favorites and privacy preferences are saved in your browser. If you choose to allow activity counts, we record actions and times, page sections, referring website names, and device categories. A random browser ID helps estimate unique visitors. These reports do not contain your name, quote text, search terms, or full referring URLs. Declining optional tracking does not prevent you from using the site.
Public design links store the text, template, colors, typography, and decorations needed to reproduce your artwork. Anyone with the link may view it. Please do not include confidential information. Shared designs remain stored until removed by the owner. Hosting and infrastructure providers may process IP addresses, request details, and technical logs to deliver and protect the service.
Google AdSense and advertising partners
GirlyQuote is prepared to use Google AdSense. Advertising is intended to remain disabled until approved advertising details and the necessary consent arrangements are in place. When ads are served, Google AdSense and its advertising partners may use cookies, IP addresses, browser and device information, and similar technologies to serve, personalize, and measure advertisements, prevent fraud, and limit repeated ads.
Third parties may collect or process information through these advertising technologies under their own privacy policies. This processing may occur on their systems and in other countries. Learn more about how Google uses data on partner websites.
Your advertising and privacy choices
You can review or change Google's advertising personalization settings at Google My Ad Center. You can also manage or delete cookies through your browser settings. These choices may not disable all advertising or apply to every advertising partner. Clearing browser storage also removes your local favorites and privacy choices.
The site's optional activity-counting choice is separate from advertising consent. Visitors may disable optional activity counts using the privacy controls below.
EEA, UK, and Switzerland
Before serving personalized Google ads to visitors in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland, a Google-certified consent management platform integrated with the IAB Transparency and Consent Framework is required. Consent for cookies or local storage must also be obtained where legally required, including for some non-personalized advertising. Visitors must be able to review and change their choices through that platform.
This policy popup and its Agree button are not an advertising consent platform. The advertising consent solution must be configured before applicable ads are activated. Read Google's consent management requirements.
External services and links
GirlyQuote uses hosting, cloud storage for saved content, and Google Fonts. These providers may process connection and device information needed to deliver their services. If you follow an external link or share through another app, that service's privacy policy applies. GirlyQuote does not control third-party websites or their data practices.
Data security and retention
Access controls restrict owner reports and content management. We aim to protect stored information, but no transmission or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure. Browser-local data remains until you remove it or clear your browser. Stored shared content and consented activity records are retained for site operation unless removed by the owner; a fixed retention period has not yet been published. Please avoid sharing sensitive information.
Children's privacy
GirlyQuote is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly request personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has shared personal information through the site, please contact the owner to request review and removal. Any applicable local age and parental-consent requirements must also be respected.
Policy updates
This policy may change as services or advertising arrangements change. Updates will appear on this page with a revised date. Material changes requiring a new consent choice will not be authorized merely by acknowledging this policy.
